Ring tones difficult to enter, ringtone is not loud enough
General Comments
I love the look and feel of this T29 phone from Ericsson. I hate the fact that I can't hear the damn thing ring, except when its on the table. The sound quality on the handset is very good, I have had Ericsson phones before, and dropped them and broken them all, this one seems to have taken a drop and survived ok.
I always feel that WAP suffers badly on mobile phones, by that I mean that the content is so poor that its not worth having, it is about time the providers gave a reduced rate on these type of calls.
Button wise the phone suffers from my big hands, I sometimes feel that I need a stylus to use the phone, I can't really see the backlit buttons in low light.
I often get compliments about the speach quality, "are you on your moblie or at home ?"
Overall I do like this a great deal.

I agree to that the voice quality is very good. But what I can REALLY not agree with is that the ringtone is weak! It is so damn loud that if you use the "Medium Pitch" signal and it rings in your jeans pocket, your ears hurt!
And that toughness, If you have had Ericsson 700 series phones I do understand that your experience is bad from them. This is because of their weak construction and abscense of a metal frame. Ericsson 300, 600, 800, T2X and T3X series have a very sturdy construction consisting of a magnesium frame. I cannot count the times I have dropped mine on solid asphalt, used it in rain, sand etc. It looks beaten up as hell but still works perfect.
