our Aer Lingus flight was suposoto be flying nyc-dublin. they said it had "mechanical problems" we had to take virgin atlantic instead to london, then transfer on a connecting flight, virgin ended up being late, we missed the connecting flight and they lost our bags. then on the way home aer lingus had another mechanical problem but we were already on the plane and couldnt take off for another 4 hrs we sat there and they ran out of food for the kids we were all starving and they didnt have dinner for us to serve they apoligized so much but it didnt help, i was starving for a 7 hr trip. were going to ireland again soon in about 2 days and were trying them again, hope for the best..
