The process of hiring a car with Record company was the worst experience during my holiday.
I usually hire a car twice a year from various companies when going on holiday and I have never experienced anything as bad as hiring with Record in Malaga

Firstly after arriving at Malaga Airport, I had to que for 45 minutes at thestand, after which I was served by a very rude assistant who also informed me that I had to pay for a full tank of petrol before taking the car. When hiring a car with any other company, I always took the car with a full tank and returned it with a full tank, therefore I don't understand why Record has different rules to other hundreds companies around the world. I asked the assistant what would happen if I don't use up the whole tank, to which the answer was I will receive refund when returning it, which was an absolute untrue. When returning the car, I was assisted by another very rude person who directly said that I can make a complaint about this. She didn't even explain how I get the petrol money back or how the process works.
After signing the contract, I received the keys to the car, which we later found in the car park with a flat tyre. This meant I had to go back and que for another 30 minutes to explain what was wrong with the car and to get another set of keys to another car. There was also a family who were on the same flight as us from London Luton and also received a car at the same time as us and unfortunately their car was not drivable either as it had faulty engine. When I came back to the second car, I found it in an absolute horrible state; the car was dirty, with scratches all over it, door handles ripped out, ripped seats, no fuel cap. As there were no Record Go assistants in the car park, I didn't want to risk and take the car so once again I returned to the office for another car exchange. At last I received the keys to a car that I could actually drive safely. Overall I wasted 4 hours at the airport; I overpaid for the petrol and didn't receive my refund. I have never seen such unorganized company with such disgraceful cars which I am surprised you allow people to drive.
As I have mentioned before, this was possibly the worst holiday experience I have ever had and I definitely won't be coming back to Record
