I wouldnt normally go to a forum - but I have had the worst experience of my life to date with these quite frankly rude, ignorant, and incopmpetent idiots at citibank.
If you dont have the right code - they just dont talk to you - even if you are online on the internet banking site and can answer security questions - no "T PIN" which is different from your PIN and "E-PIN" is no conversation at all.
They moved £40,000 of my money from an account to a new account they had set up (but didnt tell me!) and when I reported it as potential fraud I still couldnt talk to anyone as I couldnt prove it was me.
The people in the call centre are usually rude, robotic and abrupt - and not always easy to understand, and although the lack of branches didnt originally bother me - it did when the money went missing and didnt appear on my internet banking as the new account wasnt linked.
A truly dissappointing and hideous way to end a 6 year banking history - I have now gone for a bog standard no frills - LTSB high street account and am not paying for any more vile "premium" banking.
DO NOT EVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH CITIBANK!!!!!!!!
