Royal Bank of Scotland online services are poor, the debit/credit system is designed to generate fees - like applying charges at the end of the banking day after you've checked the balance, so the next day you discover you've been overdrawn... by the bank.
The branch knows nothing about your account - everything seems to be controlled by 'the system'. When seeking help, the staff seem to want to get you off the phone as fast as possible.
There must be a better choice than this.
