If this review would allow a negative number out of 5, HSBC would a -5. I am nothing but frustrated, furious and upset with HSBC. I had (notice past tense) the HSBC Platinum card for almost 2 years. I have absolutely perfect credit and spent plenty on the card, yet they could not give me anything less than a 17.99% interest rate. Ridiculous, I am holding an AMEX at 10% and a Visa at 7%. The customer service is horrible, seems the call center is out sourced to another country. They were less than willing to work with me on the interest rate. I've gotten better service at a hole in the wall gas station in the middle of no where than with this card.
