Would not touch E & L Insurance with a very long barge pole!!
My claim for my dogs FCP was just under £4k, the limit of my yearly vets fees. Starting from May this year - got a cheque last week for £1000 less £79 excess. Only covers up to £1000 for any one condition. During this fiasco I emailed with only 'autoresponses' nobody from claims emailed me back until after chq arrived. Phoning meant ringing for up to 10 minutes before anyone answered if at all!
They even had the cheek to try and force an upgrade of policy (not much of an upgrade) and increase my premiums by D/D.
Changing my insurances with immediate effect.
