After reading all reviews here, I was a bit worried about my reservation at Avis, but since it was a bit late to change my reservation, I went along with it. I must say, I'm glad I decided not to change. Between the estimated and the actual charges there was a difference of 10 euro, about 14 dollars.
So, no bad surprises - There was some light damage to the car I got, but the car, a Hyundai i10, was pleasant to drive. No, my experiences with Avis in Greece are decidedly better than other reviewers here. I guess it depends who you meet behind the desk...
