Its Been a while since we stayed at Haggerston Castle, and the memory still haunts us. We were in a touring caravan, and opted to pay the extra for a super pitch. The prices at Haggerston are extortionate, we luckily had a special offer, so seemed pretty good value. We had high hopes, as we were promised millions was to be spent on the entertainment complex, ready for this season. An all new Carnaby's bar. Yeah right! no change just another years worth of dirt. The Airconditioning doesnt work making the heat unbearable and that with the overcrowding it must be a health and safety risk. The touring park is very badly maintained, flooding and boggy at the smallest amount of rain. In general the staff are poor with the exception of the entertainment team who like last year are excellent. but the high pressure pushing of toys and merchandise is unacceptable. Oh and a word of warning if you are thinking of purchasing a static, the sales team will tell you anything just to get the sale, such as the spend on carnaby's after we had meantioned its poor state. The entertainment building itself is a giant Amusement arcade, designed to drain your pockets, and it is in a very very state of repair. This site should be closed until it can be completely renovated. Oh and don't expect action or response to any negative feedback you give them, except possibly being dropped from their mailing list.
