When I was looking to buy a new car, I had been looking at second hand mini's. I'd always liked the streetkas also, my budget was around £5000, and I had found that if I went for a mini, I could get one for £5000 but with no extras - air con, cd player, leather, forget it. That was when I started looking at streetkas again, for the same price I got a metalic grey 2005 luxary model Ford Street Ka 1.6i with leather heated seats, air con, cd player, electric everything and - a convertable roof. I have had no problems with the car whatsoever and think it's fansastic to drive. My insurance was cheap - £632 with Admiral which is good considering I'm 18, have 3 points on my license and have made 2 claims in the past (non-fault but believe it or not they DO charge you for it). I would recomend to anyone.
