I do not understand the negative reviews here. Most of them sound like they had problems due to the customer not doing their homework. Of course if you take the hotels they first reccommend they are going to be far away from the center of town....that's why it's the least expensive option!! Twice I've used European Destinations and their sister company to go to Italy and Costa Rica, and I haven't had any problems what-so-ever. The trips were great, the hotels were exactly what I was expecting if not better than expected. I will most definently use this site again for booking trips in the future. It's a one stop shopping place that makes everything so easy. My only advise is to study carefully what you want to do in the cities and then choose your hotels accordingly.

I just booked a trip to Europe through this company with my children and my friends. So far, its been pretty straight forward. We leave in April. I've read all of the complaints and it appears that most of them are on the hotels. I've traveled to Europe before and all the hotels are small. In America, if you dont like your room, the hotel manager will upgrade you. In Europe, they will not. The rule of thumb is, if they are rated a 4 star in Europe, its considered a 3 star in America's standards. Just keep an open mind and enjoy the experience. I have already informed my friends that the hotels, the language barrier, the plugs, the food, and the attitudes are totally different. Just have a good time and choose your battles.
