The car was quite good value online with Auto Europe but when I reached the airport the excess for any damage whether my fault or not was a staggering 1800 euros. To avoid this I was told it would cost 105 euros extra which I agreed to. The actual cost when I checked my statement was 210 which I now see is what was on the document but I stupidly trusted the car hire assisant when he said 105 and didn't double check the VERY confusing documents they gave me. It's the most expensive car I've ever hired and I feel like I've been tricked by the company.
