I have had a nightmare with Elephant Car Insurance. I was initially happy being insured with them as the quote was competitive, but for all the hassle when a claim is made, this saving is not worth it. You do have to make so so many calls to get anything done. If you are insured with them and need to make a claim, use your own garage for the repair, not their 'approved' garage. This will be the best way to ensure that the repair is made to your desired specifications and not their garage's 'quick-fix'attempts at a cheap repair.
