    I am a contractor and my company unfortunately uses Hays to manage all contractors and none of us have received anything other than abysmal service from Hays. They never manage to arrange renewals on time (sometimes taking 2 months to sort out the paperwork for the renewal). Last time I got renewed there were literally 5 things that Hays messed up on with the new contract and each one then delayed me getting paid by months. When you contact them you are always told that someone will sort the issue and call you back later but this has NEVER happened. Even after asking to speak to supervisors I have been promised that one would call be back but they never did. It's no exaggeration to say that all of my colleagues have exactly the same experience with Hays and the worst thing is that they are taking commission from us each day that we work! I've contracted through a number of large and small agencies before, many of them not good but none come any where near the level of complete incompetence and lack of customer service as Hays.
