Just got back from a day at the Id experience in Manchester. Really enjoyed the day, didn't have to wait around much which was good. The hair and makeup was good, didn't think much of the hand treatment though.
Photographer was really nice and so was the guy showing us our pictures.
Overall i would say its a good day out and it was a laugh....but, you better make sure you have some money saved up because it isn't cheap!
After seeing our pictures and wanting a few edits on them, we found out it was £10 per edit, we were shocked! we had £250 in out rollover so we figured out we would only be able to have 2 decent photos that included edits, so after hearing about a CD which would include all our photos, we thought it would be a good idea so was interested in finding out the price....£1400!! we were shocked but decided we could pay £95 a month for 12 months, meaning we would pay about roughly £49 each, its a lot of money, but we wanted the pics.
It is a fab day out and even though there are many bad reviews i would still say go and experience it yourself.
It is just quite expensive, that's the only downside. One bit of advice, if you know you are wanting a few pictures, then you might as well get the CD, because you can get them printed in most shops now for 35p and its the same quality!. However!....say you put £50 in your rollover, then that becomes £100 when you get there....so if you put in £700 (quite a lot) but if you do that then on the day of the experience you have £1400 and your getting your CD for half price......i wish i knew this before i went because i would of put more money in the rollover, and now I wouldn't have a £1200 bill to pay!!
Just something to think about, specially if you know your going to want more than 5 photos, because just for 5 for example, is already a lot of money not including editing!!
Go and find out for yourself! its worth a visit, but build your rollover money up!!
