I have rented a car for Easter from the Capital Car and Van Hire Hampstead branch. The car was in excellent condition and the price was good. However, when I was returning the car, they have found an imaginary fault with a tyre and decided to charge me the full amount to replace the tyre. This was of course not something that is usually checked when taking a vehicle. As the company didn't reimburse me the full amount immediately I had to call on several occasions and on one have overheard another person talking to another customer who was also complaining about having to pay for a tyre.
