I've had a PS3 for over a year now and have been enjoying watching blu-ray on it and have recently been thinking about getting myself a new blu-ray player for the living room, so after much searching I came across this little beauty, Sony BDP-S350 and for only £150 and a choice of 2 blu-ray film it was looking good.
Easy to use, small and slick and extremely easy to download the new Profile 2.0 via Etherne up date, just plug to the net and your away.
The menu layout it a lot like the PS3 lay out, so if you already own a PS3 you're laughing.
it come with some very Decent and up to date features like.

Full HD 1080/60 p & 24p True Cinema Video Output
Most of all Hollywood movies are shot at 24 frames per second, and Blu-ray Disc movies are mastered at 24 frame per second, so it is only fitting that the Sony Blu-ray Disc Players can output your films at 1080/24p for a true film-like experience at home. Of course, Sony Blu-ray Disc Players can also output at 1080/60p for more traditional HDTV sets on the market. Either way Sony has you covered for the best picture possible in Full 1080p!

Quick start-up mode
Quick start-up mode allows operation in less than 6 seconds from when Sony Blu-ray Disc player is powered on.

Dolby TrueHD /DTS-HD bitstream out over HDMI (V1.3)
Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD gives you sound quality that matches the crystal clear image of Blu-ray Disc. With up to 7.1 channels of surround sound and audio that is indistinguishable from the original studio version, Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD promises you an extraordinary surround experience.

DVD upscale to 1080p
DVD Upscaling via HDMI gets the most out of your existing DVD collection by upscaling standard definition video to near HD quality. 2

Precision Cinema HD Upscale
Precision Cinema HD upscale uses high bandwidth digital-to-analog conversion and processing to detect image changes at the pixel level, rather than at the level of whole scan lines. Additionally, separate algorithms are used to process the moving and still parts of an image, resulting in sharp backgrounds with moving objects that are free from motion artifacts.

x.v.Colour for AVC-HD
xvYCC colour standard - Support for the international xvYCC color standard produces images with 1.8x the color space of the traditional RGB color standard, resulting in images with more natural and vivid colour reproduction.5

BRAVIA Sync
As a leader in products with HDMI connectivity, Sony has created BRAVIA Sync to go beyond simple audio and video transmission. When combined with a select number of BRAVIA televisions and other Sony audio and video products, in addition to audio and video transmission, control functions will betransmitted via the HDMI cable. With "One Touch Play" operations that took several steps have been reduced to one. Press the PLAY button on the remote, watch the audio and/or the video component(s) turn on then the BRAVIA television turn on and switch to the correct video

Ether port for Network Update
Ethernet port provides connectivity to a home broadband connection so you can download network updates

All in all, it's a great blu-ray player with some excellent features and amazing picture quality and rich sound, all of a great budget price.
