Purchased an Indesit BAN12NF May 2008. Worked fine for 7 months. The fridge stopped working due to ice building up behind the freezer unit blocking the cold air duct. 5 further breakdowns occured between December 08 and July 09 all with the same problem - freezer works - fridge doesn't.
My last Engineer visit was this week (29.07.09)whereby the Engineer admitted that there was nothing else he could do - rang Indesit Technical support and they have agreed to replace the unit. I am still without a working fridge and have been now for 2 weeks and Indesit stated they would get back to me with a replacement proposal within 10 days!!
