I love tapas but La Tasca shouldn't be allowed to use the word- the food we had in the Tring branch in July was the worst I've ever had and would make a Spanish person weep. 'Paella' like a boil-in-the-bag frozen job, squid rings grey and rubbery, the meat in the meatballs tasted so awful we wondered if it was off and left them, and the Spanish omelette was also grey ( a bit of a theme) and dry as cardboard. They charged £1 for bread! The children's menu 'generously' allowed 'one scoop' of ice cream for dessert- how much does ice cream cost guys?!- and what we got was a melted teaspoonfull. Genuinely the worst meal I've had in years- like the worst kind of British restaurant from 30 years ago before things (generally) got better. Don't go near it.
