Made a booking last weekend, confirmed by phone that there was a 30km transfer distance from the airport to the hotel. Booked and got all paerwork though no problem.
Sat down 2 days later to plan what we will do with our time, spotted a bit of an oddity, stating on the local tourist site stating that the airport was acually 62 kM from the town. Double check on Google Maps - the airport we wre booked into was over 300km from the hotel!
They are fighting with "their supplier" to fix this problem, but I am not very confident that it will get resolved. I have offered them to swap me to a different holiday, but they are very reluctant to find a good solution to their misselling. I am waiting to hear a final offer from them tomorrow.
I reccomend you double check EVERYTHING Directline Holidays claim before booking.
