I took my family with ages ranging from 4 to 59 (7 of us) to Blackpool Pleasure Beach recently and although we were a bit miffed at having to pay £5.00 each for those of us not wanting to go on the rides, I was pleasantly surprised with 1)the cleanliness and 2) the helpfulness of the staff. My daughter is in a wheelchair and the staff were very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to jump the queues and helping us on to the rides. My daughter was on first name terms with most of the staff in Beaver Creek by the end of the day! The spectacular water dance at the end of our day was the highlight. Watching our 3 children running (& wheeling) in & out of the fountains getting absolutely drenched to the sound of amazing classical music was fantastic! An enjoyable day had by all. P.S. if you have a disabled person in your party, be sure to ask for a concessionary ticket for the carer.
