AVOID alliance and leicester internet banking!!
Applied for 2 a/cs on line - Premier Direct & Online Saver 5. On-line system worked, but not all info supplied to me - eg Sort Code for each a/c, to pay monies in. And they had opened a 3rd account (Plus Saver, paying 0.1%!!) for which I had not asked!
Rang their Call Centre - totally useless - could not find my details, account no.s not recognised, etc etc.
Cut off by one girl -no ring-back.
Rang them again - long telecon - what 2nd girl was telling me made made no sense.
Asked for supervisor - not available - said "they're very busy"!
Asked her for a ring-back from supervisor - then was put on hold, for ages (trying to find someone who could help?)
Then cut me off again...
Still awaiting ring-back...
Have never had these sort of problems in years of dealings with Lloyds or Cahoot (their sister bank!).
Some of their interest rates are good - but I CANNOT recommend this outfit!
AVOID!
