Post Office Banking itself is actually quite good. So far my experience of their credit card is that it's been reliable, trouble-free and secure without being intrusive. Their call centre staff have been friendly, professional and helpful.

But the website. Oh dear. It's an absolute disaster: it can be summed up in one word: "rubbish".

First of all, it's only accessible using Internet Explorer. So that's all non-Windows users excluded, and any Windows users who value their security. When you do get to access it, it's slow and unreliable: I mean it's *so* slow that it often times out, and logging in often requires more than one attempt. If you do have the perseverance to get beyond the login screen functionality is extremely limited. I'm also not at all convinced about the security of the login mechanism which seems rather basic for a financial website.

Overall they provide a good service, but are very badly let down by one of the worst websites I've ever seen. I would recommend them but on the condition that they do something about their online presence.
