Our flight from Dayton was delayed 1 hour 15 minutes due to maintenance, arrived at Atlanta with 15 to spare to get to Venice flight. No one helped us or held plane (yet no connecting flights in Venice)and we missed it. Our Parents had to pay for hotel in Venice and missed private water taxi trip thru Grand Canal with them. We had to spend 2 1/2 hours trying to find another flight and hotel room that night. We had 2 young children with us and no one cared. The customer service was beyond pathetic and we are not happy with Delta Airlines. We would like compensation for hotel and water taxi of $400. Not too much to ask!!!
