We were charged 598 euro to rent a compact car for 4 days. That does include insurance and a full tank of gas. The car had over 100,000 KM on it. It was probably a model from the early 200s. It was horrible. We have had bad experiences with Budget in ireland previously but needed to rent the car in Galway. Earlier in the trip we had a great experience with Hertz. It really pays to reserve from the U.S. for car rental in Ireland.
