I did a bank transfer from the Us to Canada and now it has been 3 weeks and money has not arrived. The customer service is based in phillipines abd those guys have no clue or decision making powers. I am still talkin to xoom everyday and has not been ressolved. Please do not use this service unless you are sending in money for your retirement.

    I found this review very helpful because...it happened to me to....i was sending money going to my td canada trust account to pay my visa card. i should have followed my instinct and used money gram instead. now they havent put the money in my account and its almost 1 week till i did the transaction. In their webpage i check my xoom account and they are telling me that the money was already deposited. its all lies......i didnt received any money. and know i have to borrow money from my brother to pay my visa card which would cost me an overcharge because i got late in my payment.
