My experience with Car Stuff was TERRIBLE! I STRONGLY URGE OTHERS TO PATRONIZE OTHER BUSINESSES FOR THEIR AUTO PARTS.

I needed to get parts delivered in two business days. I submitted my order on a Friday afternoon and needed the parts delivered by Tuesday. The ADDITIONAL charge to have my order shipped 2-day versus ground was $150, which was my first concern. The parts I ordered were small and relatively lightweight. I submitted the order online then was reviewing the online receipt that appeared. It was ONLY THEN that I saw the disclaimer indicating that overnight or 2-day shipping orders, if delivered by air, might require up to an additional 24 hours for delivery (hence negating any guarantee of 2-day shipping to the possibility of 3-day shipping). I immediately called their customer service line to confirm that my order would arrive on time on Tuesday. The call center agent I spoke with did not speak English well and I had the impression that the call center was in India. I had a difficult time explaining the online policy to him. He was not familiar with it but eventually assured me that 2-day shipping meant that I would get it in 2 days (on Tuesday). This did not give me any reassurance, so I called back to speak with another agent. I again got an agent who was not very fluent in English and had to seek the input of a supervisor. This agent also assured me that the parts would arrive on Tuesday and that if they did not, my shipping costs would be refunded.

Tuesday arrives. Of the 9 parts ordered, only 6 had arrived by 8 pm. I again called customer service. The agent we spoke with informed us that we had missed the cut-off deadline on Friday for placing a 2-day delivery order for arrival on Tuesday and that no shipping costs would be refunded. She was correct in that I had missed the deadline for ordering; the site stated a deadline of 1 pm ET and I had incorrectly calculated the time zone conversion. (Interestingly, though, the website DID NOT NOTIFY ME OF THIS DURING THE ORDERING PROCESS.) HOWEVER, I find it notable that NEITHER agent I spoke with on Friday had brought this to my attention, despite the fact that I had explicitly called to CONFIRM that my order would arrive on TUESDAY. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL SHARE BY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE WITH MANY FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS, AND COLLEAGUES to save them the grief and lost money that this firm has caused me.
