DO NOT get into a contract with 3... I have found the actual service is at best slow, frequently disconnects - usually when i need it most. highly frustrating.

The signal drops to nothing from full to nothing again within a short space of time so that actually using the internet is impossible as it frequently says 'you are not connected to the internet'. the connection varies every few seconds between 3G , HSDPN, and the type between 'local & internet & local only'

After compliants on the three customer broadband 'helpline' (555) for 5 months- still no ressolve - i'm locked into a contract that i have to pay - for a dire service.

The most annoying part is that the customer service is clearly scripted (53 x 'I am very sorry sir' in one call gets annoying. they fob you off with 'i will get this problem escalated to the network team' then i hear nothing back. I have a list of names/references i've taken, despite notes on the account , asking to speak to supervisors/managers, and failed promises of callbacks - the problems go on & on.

they blamed my computer settings - despite all 3 pcs/laptops working fine anywhere else... blamed my internet security originally norton, then mcaffe, then none, then kapersky... yet works fine elsewhere with these running. they blamed windows vista, yet 2 of the pcs/laptops are windows xp.

despite the device working fine elsewhere, on the same pcs/laptops they cannot fathem that the issue is something of a local one!

BEST AVOID 3 - not worth the stress/ poor service/ bad customer care

    Well this could have been written by me! I have had exactly the same problems.

    The provision of service is at best poor and at worst non-existant.

    I have made numurous calls to 3's broadband helpdesk to experience the same as this reviewer.

    I have a broad west country accent and know I can be hard to understand, if you ask to speak to some-one else who may better understand you they simply cut you off. You then have to call back and start all over again.

    We had 5 modems with 3 business and dropped the lot and moved to Vodafone. The service there has been great and we have have only had to call 3 times since changing, and then it's clearly been a problem of our own making.
