I am a victim of Identity Theft. Three years later I am still being hounded by bailiffs for a £4000 debt which isn't mine. I have written and rung the HSBC several times with no result whatsoever. I loathe them. Utterly and completely. Call centre hell. And when I've gone into the branch a lot of chat, a lot of promises and NO RESOLUTION. I'm leaving them next week. Can't wait. And have you actually tried to use their internet banking? There are so many pieces of poor design, endless requests for codes and passwords and other assorted bull that it's actually unusable.
