Had a policy with Budget Car Insurance for twelve months, did the automatic renewal which wasn't a problem. Then had the audacity to sell my vehicle three months into the second year. Obviously I no longer need insurance for it, I'll cancel it I thought to myself. Not a problem but the cancellation fee & some other tripe they came up with meant that I was left paying them the whole years premium bar approx £5. The real icing on the cake 'it is not company policy to give any refunds with a value of less than £10'.
This policy may be written somewhere but I found no sign of it in the basic material. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN PERIL. I have to give them one star to get this page to load, it is a star with odour!!!
