Haven Devon cliffs caravan park,Worst waste of money holiday we've ever been on.
The description in the brochure is very misleading, we were debating between a Haven holiday, which we had never been on before and renting a cottage,we so wish we had taken the cottage!,the reason we decided on the Haven holiday was the promise of kids clubs and entertainment, well the kids clubs are a joke,1 hour of badly organised games in the morning for the 5-11 year olds, and about 10 mins colouring with 1 staff member for the little cubs (1-5),the entertainment would be ok for people whose idea of a good holiday is intensive drinking,(if they don't mind queuing for the bar, 1 staff member on all evening),or if they have massive wallets and are happy for their kids to spend the whole evening pushing money into slot machines.
The entertainment complex was dirty and smelly, the pool was unsuitable for little ones as the area for them was full of teenagers pushing each other around every day,the lockers take £1 from you every time you open it, but as there is no seating around the pool, you can't take your stuff out with you.
we had a week booked but left after 4 days,Haven try to get money out of you at every turn, as the week we had booked cost nearly £900, we were totally disgusted with the place, will NEVER go to a haven park again.Would have rated it with no stars, but it won't let me!!
