First off, I will start by saying STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM MARKSMAN 2000!!!! It doesn't even seem close to the 200 feet per second it claims to be capable of. I would never EVER , EVER EVEN ponder recommending this absolute waste of money and whatever else one would invest in it. I know the price makes it seem like it's got good value, but honestly I sold it as soon as the opportunity presented itself and I STILL feel bad for charging him $40, which is $39.99 over what I feel it's worth. Now I'll describe some of my experiences with this bb gun. 1: bounced off a candle, leaving a tiny dent if you could even call it that. 2: It barely knocks over an empty pop can. On the brighter side, it killed a wasp, yet couldn't penetrate paper. All in all this gun is not at all worth it's price. I want everyone to know that I am not trying to start any arguments or insult anyone, but, should you choose to purchase it still, I respect your decision, although more powerful like the crosman phantom or nightstalker, which in my opinion have great values. Or if your looking for a pistol worth it's price tag, I would recommend one that's CO2 powered. Although yes, you will have to buy CO2 powerlets, at least it can inflict the least amount of damage on a pop can.
