I have been waiting for BT to install Business Broadband Option 2 for over a month now. The failure pattern goes something like this...
BT give you a date and then FAIL. They set a date 5 days in the future as the new connection date then FAIL. They set another date 5 days forward and FAIL...
I am currently on my eigth promised date and have absolutely no confidence in their ability to deliver. They can't predict when service will be available. I am a fully paid up BT business customer of some 17 years, from dial up, through ISDN and now ADSL. They couldn't care less.
...and don't think about complaining. There is no effective way. The management hide behind their front line troops who have no authority whatsoever, you cannot get to the management and throttle them as you are rapidly driven to want to do. BT see you as the sheep and they are the shepherd, you must comply with their method of customer abuse.
The only way out is to find another supplier of services that does not require a BT line.
