Hi everyone.
I signed up with this company to their £14.99 package of telephone and braodband with a £30 set up fee. About two weeks later on the 7th July 2009 I received the contract and to my shock the monthly cost was £34.99 with a set up fee of £85. I phoned their helpline and was told that I had signed up for their telephone, broadband and TV package. I was told that their records would be ammended and I would be sent a new contract. It is 24th July now and I have heard nothing from them. I have tried to phone them but their telephone service has been suspended. I have blocked the direct debit and informed them that I have cancelled any contract between us by recorded delivery letter and email. Whether they continue with the switchover is yet to be seen but I am not at all impressed. If it was an honest mistake then they don't seemed concerned to correct it but if it is an attempt to dishonestly elicit more money from me then it is a serious matter. In either case this is very poor customer service. Suffice to say I reccomend for anyone to avoid Something Broadband.
