I read everyone's negative review and just had to add my two cents worth. I have a firm S&F memory foam mattress (don't buy pillow top) and it has just been great. I too have a bad back and have a Dux bed in my other bedroom (twice as expensive)..the S&F is probably more comfortable.
I think the problem may be the pillow top..I have other pillow top mattresses and they are just terrible. Sags or leaves and indent after less then a year.
