Staff can never be more helpful at my halifax branch, usually find that its good elsewhere as well. Yes overdraft charges are high and unfair, but hey they are everywhere and frankly if you can manage your money its a free account! branch has loads of different paying in options, internet banking outstandingly easy, telephone a pain because of security but would rather dos security than be frauded! From experience they have OUTSTANDING fraud detection and prevention systems, they stopped me being taken for £12k when they detected unusal activity on my account. They have competitive products, and as far as possible offer a personal service.
