My thoughts are simply this I go to one of your dreams stores to make a purchase, i see something i like that concist of bedroom furniture, Bed and mattress. Total price £1200.00. Was told that the mattress came from there company but bed + furniture would take a little while longer for delivery but definateley within 28 days. My order was placed on 18.06.09. I paid 20% deposit £244.00. To this date 23.07.09 still no furniture,I was told via costumer care that if i cancell my order that i will lose my 20% deposit.The fact that nobody kept me informed of what was happening with bed and furniture,I ws contacted on 4 occations and each time it was to tell me the mattress was ready to be deliverd, i explained that i did not want the mattress untill the bed was deliverd. all of a sudden you try to tell me that the bed and furniture was always there and ready for delivery but it would not be deliverd untill the full payment was made. Well if thats the case why was i not told that stuff has always been there. The arrangment i had with your manager was that as soon as a delivery date was known they would notify me and i could come into the store and pay rest of money. But it would seem that DREAMS have turnded things around as if to say i am at fault for not paying the rest of monies of £1000.00. It would also be fair to say that all chasing up was done by myself. I feel i have been conned just like we were conned by the bankers, we pay to keep them afloat and get nothing in return. So I and friends are planning to hold a demonstration outside there store high lightning the errors of there ways. I dont expect this notice to be shown or acted on because it's the same COMPANY who will check this letter and deside wether to let it through or not.
