SMS seem to connected with DX (same firm)? who deliver all the UK passports. Their courier in my area (North Wales)has repeatedly failed to deliver to us because our home is down a long lame which he's too idle to consider driving down. The Royal Mail, Parcelforce and other couriers come here regularly, but not DX/ SMS.
The courier makes silent calls to our home from his mobile, and when I 1471 it to find out who it is, he answers and dsays he will meet us one mile away if we want the delivery!
I have taken the matter up with DX / SMS but although their Head of Complaints has told me the next delivery WILL be made to the house, it has NOT happened and we have now received a call from the depot manager telling us once again to meet the courier a mile away.
The courier seems to be mentally unstable, on the first occasion when I had to drive a mile to meet him, he yelled at me 'Do you know how much I get paid for this? I work for the worst company in Britain!'
Why on earth does the government give contracts to a completely useless firm like this?

It is great when I see others having problems, only because it reinforces my belief that this company is the worst in Britain, and that I am not alone in my experience with themtho. The question begs to be asked though - why do SMS get such important contracts as passport deliveries? Doesn't this mack a mockery of all the security to do with anti terrorism laws and ID cards?

I am querying the whereabouts of a passport supposedly delivered by DX in June. According to them it was delivered, they have a grainy photograph of a gate that could be mine but still i have no passport and they tell me case closed end of investigation as it has been delivered. What does one do now? and who has my passport as I certainly don't!
