I don't often write reviews but feel compelled to in the case of TopUp TV. I've used the service for about 3 or 4 years. It's a basic service, but I knew what I was buying and have no complaints on that score.
My complaint is the very poor reliability. I have the Thomson DTi6300 recorder. It has failed a number of times. Each time it seems to be caused by a bad software download / update. I have missed many of my favourite shows as a result of this. When I emailed TopUpTv withy specific questions I got a form letter in reply that did not answer any of my questions. I can understand this fault being caused once but several times?
For long term subscribers, TopUopTv needs to do the decent thing and give free repalcement hardware for all those of us suffering with the DTi6300
