great from birth & you dont need baby nest- buy a head support in black off the net- looks smart and was only £10- can leave in and fold easily. Then you only need the foot muff- essential extra. Looks really smart- machine washable, dries quickly. Recline is almost flat so great for newborn. Easy to shop with , not too wide and I think unless you have a very large baby you will be fine in terms on the width that has been criticised. Mine is a broad shouldered 15 month old but is fine- looks a little 'cosy' in full winter clothes but I've felt around him and he's comfy. They really arent going to be in it at age 4 anyway are they unless you encourage them & that's up to you. Its light to push, spins on a sixpence and easy on public transport. Easy to put up and down when you get the nack. Negatives then: THE RAIN COVER IS EXCEPTIONALLY POOR QUALITY. High class buggy, low class rain cover which is a vital accessory. I am on my 4th or 5th now- I lose count. I am very clean and careful and take care of things. I hardly use it but still it either rips or the wire comes through. Speaking to friends it appears to be acommon feature of all bugaboos. I keep getting free replacements while I'm under warrenty but that is going to expire and I know I will still need replacements as the quality hasnt improved. The plastic is slightly stretchy and not the easiest to put on. Other downside is you cant wip it off quickly to get baby in/out. So yet again Maclaren wins there too. No buggy board made yet after faulse promise. Apparently if you use another brand on it your warranty is invalidated.Other than that though I have no regrets with the Bugaboo Bee. It's a fab buggy and othe than the rain cover its worth every penny.
