I got Sophie in June 2008. One of my best decisions! She is very affectionate, intelligent but very needy.
The welcome after being absent is superb. She is also very excitable once she hears the word "WALK"! We now spell it, but she is now re-acting to this too.
Very intelligent dogs with huge energy. I would recommend one for anyone, provided that they will walk at least once a day for at least an hour. Get a ball thrower.
I made the mistake of allowing her on couches - bad idea. Cocker Spaniels shed a lot
