I am having exactly the same problems as everyone else who has a business account with Lloyds - this "earmark" thing. it is ruining my business. I cashed a cheque over the counter and got it taken out twice for 10 days! they only put the funds back because i rang them up! why do we have to ring up to ask for our money back, they do not understand you frustration, don't help and will never admit that they made a mistake. The last conversation I had the guy hung up on me because he could not handle the truth, they are a bunch of wimps when it comes to having to listen to people. never ever bank with them.
