Went to Thorpe Park today for the first time in about 20 years... it has changed alot and to be honest was a real disappointment. Most of the rides are great, if you dont mind queing for hours to get on them. WE turned up before it opened and managed to queue just 5 minutes for Collosus, our next ride was the SAW ride - we queued 70 minutes for that and that was at 10:30 in the am.
All the other rides were queueing for similar times and we never got round to going on anything else because it meant waiting around for at least 90 minutes.
If you want to go and avoid the kids.. leave it til oct/nov (outside of half term) and get there early.
The other massive minus is fast-track. Not content with fleecing you for £35 to get in, they then charge you another extra £4 per ride just to beat the queues. Couple that with the fact that all food and drink is way over the normal price and you leave there feeling pretty hard done by.
Thorpe Park should have an 'adults only' day or evening... until they do, I wont be going back there in a hurry.
