Am in process of purchasing a VW Golf though Car Giant. Massive choice, but understand that purchase experience is not going to be like franchise dealer, afterall they are not car sales people (price is fixed, no haggling allowed!), the only thing they sale is warranties and car care products! On our visit (Jul 09) loads of choice. We ended up with a VW Golf with 50k, all ex-fleet maintained and in as-new condition and probably £1000-£1500 less than it would have been on VW dealer forecourt! Suggest go with impartial friend as it's easy to get carried away with so much choice.
