I have had this Gamo Big Cat 1200 gun for a week. I got it because of a squirrel problem in my back yard, have killed about 8 of them at 30 yards, the problem is that after about 5 shots I have to re-sight the scope, all the bolts are tight so I think the scope is not that great. As for the power, when I do hit a squirrel they do drop. I only wish it could stay sighted. Took it to a friend who knows how to sight better then me and he had it hitting bulls eyes took it home and again it was shooting high so who knows. I am going to take it back and exchange it for another one and see if it fixes the problem, I really do like the power of this air gun.

I had the same problem, it occurs because the spring hitting forces the scope the other way. The way to fix this is to buy blue thread locker, just go to ace hardware or home depot, don't get "red thread locker" that is for permanent use only. Put the blue thread locker on the threads of the screws that screw into the mount that hold the scope on the gun then screw them in. And also put a small piece of black electrical tape behind the furthest scope mount to see if it still moves, oh and after you put on the thread locker give it like 5 hours to dry it usually it doesn't take that long but just to be safe leave it for 5 hours. Hope this helps!
