Changed to hastings after many years with my previous company, only switched to them because they were cheap and the car was not worth very much. Paid total premium up front.

I was stopped by the police this weekend for having NO INSURANCE!!!! Hastings had cancelled it without telling me because they said I had not returned some docs to them, I didnt even receive the policy from them.

So after 25 years of driving with NO points ever, I now have 6 points and a £200 fine!

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Hastings Direct.
