We have just come back from a 5 night break at Butlins Skegness. We stayed in Gold and it is now starting to look dated. The TV picture was bad and our view was of a brick wall! The entertainment was poor, no wrestling or decent shows. It cost £6.80 for a round of cokes at the bar, daylight robbery! We have been twice a year for the last 5 years and we will not be going back. People queued for shows for over 2.5 hours...sad people! The swimming pool changing rooms were filthy. Would not recommend Skegness...needs some serious up-grading if we are to visit again!
