Bought Carrera Kraken Jan 2008, so far:
Crank fell off - poor design - nothing to stop the bolt coming unscrewwed!
Punctures - Halfords 'forgot' to add the goo I paid for
Chain broke today, Halfords reaction - they do that and refused to help - they sold me a new chain and tool.
I subsequently learnt that I could ahve got away with just a SDram Power Link at less than £2 !

Carrera Kraken
I have the Carrera Kraken 2001 model. I got it just before the 2002 model came out so I got it slightly cheaper than normal.
