Car-Hire-UK.com failed to refund deposit. I would describe this company as one to be avoided at all costs, especially if you are an overseas visitor.

    I found this review very helpful because...I was also a victim of www.car-hire-uk and have since found reports on many complaints forums regarding this company.
    I just wish I had read this revies before renting a car from them.

    Yes, I also find this review helpful as I had a similar experience. I got my refund back for the excess deposit but not the fuel deposit after many complaints (about 8 months). Even the refund amount is very much less than what you expect.

    I found this review very helpful because...I was another victim of this company. I eventually got my money back through Visa but it took a long time, Car-hire-uk.com failed to return phone calls and gave a new excuse every time I phoned.
    Good review, I wish I had read it before hiring a car from this company.
