I recently got a cross german sheperd ,collie from Tameside Animal Shelter and the staff were very helpful, did an home assessment first to see if my home was suitable,and my new dog Jasmin has been wonderful, she was very stressed to begin with and has taken time to settle in, she and i go walking every day, she gives heaps of love and affection and enjoys her treats .We are spoiling her at present as vets says she needs to put on more weight. The staff advised me she was a lovely dog with lots to give and she is.Jasmin was at shelter for only 2 weeks, but was well cared for and had so many walks,but no one took her on,Everyone now comments on her good looks her excellent temperment and her big browm eyes, shes a joy to have around thanks .
